Letter to four men, the Committee on Army Reading of the Council of Chaplains of the Army of the Cumberland, discusses the moral and behavioral problems common to soldiers, sending a sample constitution (not present) for the establishment of the Washington Military Union, a proposed type of club that would provide good fellowship, influences, and reading matter.
